Wall Street's Financial Reform

Edd's Commentary for Friday, April 23, 2010. As an American citizen, our Constitution tells us that as Americans, by law, we are to be treated equally. Having said that I believe that we should impose the same kinds of lending practices on Wall Street as they have imposed on us when we need to borrow money or make major purchases on credit. In the end, I was always taught to treat people they way I want to be treated. This is 1st. Amendment Edd's view on Wall Street's financial reform.

Anger in the United States!

Today, I have listened to the Joy Baher's show concerning the anger of the Tea Party Movement and former President Clinton's speech on the issue. As an American citizen, looking at the coverage of their party, I have to wonder when I hear them and their representatives speak on racism, they say that they are not racists, but yet they continue to allow nasty images of my country's president to be portrayed as Hitler at many of their rallies and events.

I have not seen anything this president have done to warrant being compared to a man who had tried to eliminate an entire race of people. All this president has done thus far is accepted an office, knowing that he have to fix a country that has been utterly destroyed by a group of greedy politicians and corporate executives.

For this reason alone is enough for me not to participate in any cause these people, like myself, desires to support as white America. This is just morally wrong and deceptively seditious. This is 1st. Amendment Edd's comment of the day.

Today's Political Ticker: The Financial Banking Crisis

Hello, Bloggers. My name is 1st. Amendment Edd. I am a political commentary concerned about the daily issues of the political environment. As a cartoon character I make daily comments on all sorts of issues concerning our lives.

Today, I have listened to the Senate Congressional Hearings concerning the three executives who testified that they are not really sure of what happened with the banking institution's sub-prime loan processing. In my daily column, I want to comment on what I believe should be done to eliminate these types of issues.

Comment of the Day: After listening to the hearings I would like to respond to what the three top executives have said on the issue that they themselves claim they were not aware. In my opinion, as an American citizen I believe that just as people are being convicted for fraudulent financial practices these corporate executives should be held just as liable as average Americans would be.

Therefore, I feel strongly that every person working in the financial industry knowingly processed these sub-prime, fraudulent, loans or ordered the processing of these fraudulent loans should be charged with conspiracy to commit fraud. And if convicted all of the players should be punished to the full extent of the law.

Lastly, I generally feel that these players are really no better than Bernie Maddoff. This is my Political Ticker of the Day. Please send us your comment(s) and we will reply with a response.

1st. Amendment Edd "Let's say what needs to be said"

1st. Amendment Ed

Let me introduce myself. My name is 1st. Amendment Edd. All I have left is my voice and I'm ready to start screamin! Let me ask you a serious question...would it have been better for the government to give the "BAIL-OUT" money to US! American citizens rather than giving it to the very same folks that created the problem in the first place???3 minutes ago clear
